We're All In It Together
In a disaster, you’re not on your own: you’re with your community.
We’re all in it together; it’s you helping yourself, others around you and them helping you that’s going to really make the difference. You and the people around you are your source of help and first point of contact during an emergency. The people around you could be your work, social media, cultural and local communities. Emergency services may be extremely busy so may not get to you immediately. It’s about looking after one another.
Let’s Get Connected it makes everyday life much more enjoyable! It is by doing things together that communities thrive, adapt and get stronger even through challenging times.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has” – Margaret Mead
