Abstract:MetService issues a severe weather warning. The Auckland Region Emergency Management Office reminds Aucklanders to stay up-to-date with weather forecasts over the next 24 hours. MetService expects the Auckland region to be hit by severe weather between Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning with winds expected to rise to gale force in many areas.
