Abstract:Heavy rain causes land slip in Torbay, North Shore City. The recent heavy rain in the region has caused a land slip in a residential street in Torbay. Three houses have been damaged, one seriously, and twelve further houses have been evacuated as a precaution.

Abstract:Rain moving east as day progresses. The Met Service believes that the worst of the rain has passed the Auckland region. However, heavy rain continues in the Coromandel and is expected in the Bay of Plenty, causing problems on the roads.
