What is the Auckland Region Co-ordinating Executive Group (CEG)?

Supporting the Civil Defence Emergency Management Group (CDEMG) is the Coordinating Executive Group (CEG), a statutory mandated committee made up of senior officials from the councils, Fire Service, Police, District Health Boards, plus (in Auckland) St Johns, Public Health Board, Auckland Engineering Lifelines Group and Group Controller.

Role:

  • Implements the decisions of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Group and provide them with strategic advice.
